1. How do I know you have matched me with the right person?
The information you submit is carefully screened. When an apparent match is
found your are notified and asked for confirmation on the information you have
provided. You are also provided with any key pieces of information that may have
been captured from the matching profile. It is then up to you to decide if you feel
the match is valid.
2. Does your program work for children who were adopted?
Yes and no. This program will work only if you have been able to obtain
information about the natural parent(s) and the actual circumstances of the birth.
The methods we use are based on finding elements that are in common like, time
and day of birth, mothers first name, fathers first name and so on. We do not
access any public records or attempt to contact anyone other than those who
have registered with our service.
3. What if I don't have all the information you require.
It is important that you provide as much information as possible, however matches
are made using a system that looks for similarities, and more importantly, the
number of similarities in one profile when compared to another. It is not necessary
that you have all the information we request. The more information you can
provide the more likely it is that we will be able to correctly identify the person you
are looking for.
4. What if I change my mind?
Once your information has been matched with someone, you and the other
person will be notified individually and asked to verify information and confirm that
you are still interested in making the contact. We do not place people in contact
with one another until we have the full consent of both individuals. If you decline
an opportunity to receive information about a possible match, your records are
held for 90 days and then destroyed. At that point, you would have to re-register
to obtain any information we might have on a possible match.
5. How much does this cost?
There is no fee for this service, however, there are expenses involved in keeping
this site active. There are 3 things that you can do to help with this endeavor:
* Tell your friends about this site
* Visit our sponsors by clicking on the links provided through out the site.
* Make a donation to Daddy's Baby which will be used to support the site and to
buy advertising for the site.
6. What about Mothers?
Mothers who are searching for a child or children are welcome to enter their
profile. The process works for either parent. We will also try and help other family
members such as aunts, uncles, brothers sisters or cousins as long as both
parties are 18 years of age or older.
7. Do I have to be 18 years of age?
Yes. This service is for Adults.
8.Why isn't your phone number listed on the website?
We depend solely on donations and ad support to operate this site. Although our
visitors are often generous, It does not allow us to afford phone operators to man
our phones. If you would like to speak to someone, we would be happy to call you
if you will send us your number and a good time to reach you. Click below to email
